Art journaling prompts – Caribbean!
When you run out of ideas, using a prompt can really help to get your creative juices flowing. A word that can inspire you to go in new directions in your art. Since many prompts do not really apply to living in the Caribbean (like autumn or snow), I have created Caribbean Prompts, which you can download for free. I hope you will feel inspired and start creating (again) today!
How to use prompts
Choose a random word, or pick the number corresponding to the day of the month. Take the prompt litteraly and draw a piece of cake, or sit down, think about the expression and see what comes up. Another example: if you pick number 31, you could actually draw some hands, or maybe you associate hands with support, and you think of somebody who relies on your help. How do you feel about that? You could incorporate that in your journal page. So, take a word and think of a way to translate this into an art journal page. It’s up to you! Enjoy!
